Can we sell on the Amazon website using the Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) arrangement service?

Q: I have a question regarding selling on Amazon. The way it works is you buy stock from a supplier of a particular good which are often abroad. You also have an Amazon warehouse (which you pay to use) where the goods are sent following purchase. When good gets bought by an online buyer off of amazon they are sent from the amazon warehouse to the customer. Is this halal and or does it fall into the hadith mentioning selling things you don’t have?

الجواب حامدا ومصليا ومسلما ومنه الصدق والصواب

A: If your query refers to the Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) arrangement, then Amazon is your agent which takes possession of your inventory on your behalf, stores it and picks, packs and ships it when a purchase is made. Thus, this does not fall under the prohibition of selling something that you do not own or possess.
